Foil Printed Tree

I love this kind of painting project! I think there are plenty of lessons (indirect and direct) that we can teach students through art. Today's art project involved the use of aluminum foil for beautiful autumn foil printed fall tree art. It's a wonderful way to talk about the transition of trees from summer to fall!

What you need

• Paint in fall colors
• Foil
• Paper
• Paper plate

Instructions (step by step)

We started by crumbling a piece of aluminum foil to create the tool we would use to create the sheets on our tree. Crunching the foil was a great sensory experience, and my son was delighted to use an interesting article to paint again! I poured a few falling colors on a paper plate and invited my son to start painting. All he had to do was dip his paper into the desired color and print it onto his paper! Easy peasy (and it came out really nice!)

Allow children to observe how the use of different amounts of paper pressure creates different effects on the blackboard. A light touch will create light, airy trees, while a firmer press will create denser, colorful foliage!

The colors were mixed well and the wrinkles of aluminum foil made perfect crunchy leaves on our trees! I'm still happily surprised and at how wonderful these prints came out!

When we were satisfied with our fall foliage, we just finger-painted the brown paint on our paper to make the tree trunks and branches. I enjoyed painting the trees as much as my boys! I think we're going to make a whole forest soon.

Pine Cone Painting For Preschool

Painting with new objects is one of my favorite ways of exploring the art of processes with kindergarten children. This is the most fun pinecone craft we have ever done. Let's get started by gathering the necessary material.

What you need

• Pinecones
• Paper
• Box
• Colors

Instructions (step by step)

First, gather all the material we need to do this art.

Pop the paper inside the box and squirt paint in the middle of the paper (see the picture).

Grab the pinecones and add them to the box.

Now, the fun part begins; gently roll the pinecones in all directions. Kids gonna love this part and we recommend that kids should do this part. Although, be careful not to let the pinecones fall out of the box.

Keep rolling them until you'll get awesome art to display. Yes, It was that easy. You have made it!
